Our Beachfront Restaurant serves lunch and dinner 7 days a week. We have an exciting menu ideal for those long, leisurely lunches or special dinners. You’ll find something on our menu to suit all tastes, from fresh local seafood to homemade gourmet pizzas. Our wide variety of salads, juicy steaks and our fabulous house made desserts will be sure to tantalise your taste buds.
Our surf club is the ONLY surf club in Australia to feature a genuine wood fired char-grill, all our steaks are cooked over this iron bark fueled coal pit giving them a sweet smokey taste you won’t find anywhere else. You can watch our chefs cooking up your delicious steaks on this impressive piece of equipment in our state of the art open kitchen. You can enjoy our delicious food, listening to the waves on our stunning deck or inside where we’ve created a comfortable eating area with uninterrupted views of the ocean. Whatever your choice, you are certain to enjoy our fantastic service, delicious food and breathtaking views.
The restaurant is also open for breakfast every Sunday morning. Come and join us for a lazy Sunday brunch or kick-start your day with the famous Ultimate Brekky Tower – guaranteed to fill you up for the day ahead!
Open seven days a week. We use local Vivo coffee and also offer up a delicious selection of house made desserts, biscuits, milk shakes & iced drinks.
We try to support local producers as much as possible, we exclusively use Eumundi Coffee Co. for our coffee beans.
Edmund Coffee Co. was established by a group of friends who have worked together in the speciality coffee industry for over a decade. Together falling in love with the culture, the story and the creative art that is coffee making.
Our matured ambitions now grow from a vision of a coffee community focused on the development of the industry as a whole.
Through friendship, trust collaboration and transparency of knowledge our network will pioneer new projects and practices aimed at improving and innovating the interactions of everyone involved in the journey of our coffees.
Andy Neal, our Head Chef.
Andy began his career in NSW over 30 years ago working in fine dining restaurants, at the age of 21 he became one of the youngest Head Chefs in Sydney.
He moved to the Sunshine Coast over 20 years ago and worked as the head chef at Bathers in Coolum before opening and operating his own café for 10 years.
Andy joined the Coolum Surf Club family back in the Winter of 2016 and is known for his passion for what the club stands for as well as his skill of cooking steaks to perfection on our wood fired char grill.
Andy is a passionate NRL Supporters and in his younger days pulled on a jersey for Parramatta who he now barracks for. Being a Blue please rib him about how good Queensland is when you see him. He also loves water sports and is a keen fisherman.
Grahame Manley, our Sous Chef.
Grahame began his journey with Coolum Surf Club back in the Autumn of 2017 and he hails from New South Wales.
With over 18 years of Chef experience Grahame has spent time as the Head Chef at Gymea Bowling Club and was the contract caterer for Woolaware Golf Club.
Grahame’s culinary journey began as an apprentice at Bungalow 8 and Gazebo Wine Bar in the early 2000’s and then he moved into a Sous Chef role with the Morsol Group which was part of Matt Moran’s group of restaurants.
Grahame is passionate about food and the Cronulla Sharks and enjoys watching NSW getting belted by Queensland … NOT!
